At Overgaard RV Resort, our goal is to not only to be your favorite place to escape the heat and the hustle of the big city, but to make the process easy and enjoyable for you. We are a full-service RV resort with a wide range of experience and we are open year round so you can enjoy the seasonal changes and all of the beauty that the White Mountains have to offer, whenever you wish. We want you to feel at home in our community and we are building and improving everyday to make your weekend getaway, vacation, Summer stay or year round stay rewarding, relaxing and fun! We take pride in our community and would love to show you around.

 

Our past and present guests will attest to our attention to detail, clear communication, honesty and integrity and dedication to the comfort, safety and overall positive experience of everyone who visits. We have so much fun and enjoy the most beautiful surroundings in the State of Arizona. Most RV resorts in the area are closed for winter but we are open during the cooler months. 

 

We are not right on the highway so we enjoy the sounds and sights of nature rather than all of that being muffled by the sounds of traffic. That makes us a little harder to find but if you ask us, we wouldn't have it any other way! We are tucked back in the pines with wildlife and nature. We experience the changing of the seasons and all of the colors and divine beauty that those changes bring.

 

We would love to meet you and give you a tour or the park. We can even reserve a space for you when availability permits for a small deposit and we can do it all over the phone. If you are interested in securing a space, please contact us as far in advance as possible as our spaces fill up really fast. We currently have just a couple of spaces open and we are already compiling our Spring/Summer waitlist for 2024/2025. We have so many amenities including laundry facilities and clean public showers. We also have a clubhouse for our guests with cable TV, billiards and a large library with a great variety of books that can be borrowed or traded. Our clubhouse also serves as a meeting place for the many activities that are offered for anyone who wants to join us.  We have added a dedicated high speed internet connection that is available at no extra charge. It is available now for all guests and it is fast and reliable enough to keep you in touch while you enjoy the peace and quiet. We've tried to think of everything but we know that there is always room for improvement. That's why we are always looking for ways to make our park better and to keep things modern, convenient and comfortable without interfering with the natural beauty of our surroundings. We know that's what brings most folks up this way and we know you'll appreciate the pines, wildlife, majestic beauty and the cooler temperatures that we are so lucky to experience at our 6,500 foot elevation.

 

If you're looking for some relief from the blistering heat of the valley, you're looking in the right place. Our Summertime average temperature is about 15 to 20 degrees cooler than the daytime temperatures in the Phoenix area during the summer months and the best part is that it always cools off at night. As long as there are no fire restrictions in the area, we welcome our guests to enjoy a covered propane fire and we sometimes have scheduled fireside social events to help us get to know our neighbors. We consider our guests family and everyone in the park is friendly and helpful which makes our park more of a community of neighbors and friends than simply a place to park your RV.

 

The winter months are also filled with the kind of fun and excitement that you rarely experience at lower elevations. If you want to come and play in the snow, we expect to have snow on the ground in the park or close by for most of the wintertime. If you want a spot to build a snowman or even if you just want to experience our beautiful winter wonderland from inside your warm RV, if Mother Nature cooperates, we have the perfect spot for anyone wishing for a White Christmas or a change of scenery and atmosphere during the off season.

 

If you are a bird lover, we have a birding area in the front of the park and our guests have identified and photographed over 20 different species of birds right here in our little community. I guess the word is out because the birds seem to love it here as much as we do and we welcome them. We also have other types of wildlife who we consider to be part of our community and most of them are so accustomed to sharing this space with us that they are not timid. You're sure to encounter some interesting wildlife who might interact with you or your neighbors, making for great opportunities for photos or video and they are usually more than happy to pose for a picture. So don't forget your camera, your curiosity and your RV and join us for some peaceful, year round mountain beauty and rustic charm and the kind of peace that you can only find while communing with nature.
